Do you rinse your vegetables? Why?

Posted by The Burger Buddy Fat Reducer on August 2, 2010

Do you rinse off  fresh fruits and vegetables, or do you trust the store to deliver them to you with no contaminants? I think we all know the answer to that one, don’t we? So why should you trust unrinsed meat that can be even more hazardous to your health than vegetables?  Whenever vegetables are recalled it is almost invariably because they have been contaminanted by an animal product, namely  feces. Why not be as smart about your meat as you are about your fresh fruit and vegetables? Unless you cremate your meat, cooking is no guarantee you will have a meal free of live bacteria. It’s also no guarantee the meat will be free of other kinds of contaminants either. In fact, cooking can generate carcinogens, and the leaner the meat, the worse it can get. The Burger Buddy Fat Reducer

Posted by The Burger Buddy Fat Reducer on May 16, 2010

If you love hamburgers but hate the guilt associated with eating fatty meat, you need the Burger Buddy Fat Reducer.

In less than 10 seconds:

  1. Take your cooked, fatty, boneless meat from the pan, oven, outdoor grill, or even George Foreman Grill.
  2. Place it in The Burger Buddy Fat Reducer on a pot 3 quarts or larger.
  3. Add some simmering hot water which you can heat in the microwave, stove top, or outdoor grill.
  4. Take the presser and press down firmly for 2-3 seconds.
  5. Keep the presser on the meat and add a little more water to flush off all that nasty, artery-clogging grease.
  6. Pick up your meat using a utensil (it will be hot!), let it drain for a second or two, and put it on a plate to cool for 5-10 seconds before placing it ona bun. That’s it!

Feel free to do this with as few or as many pieces of meat at one time as you want. You can even freeze processed meat for a quick meal later.
