The Burger Buddy does a lot more than just remove fat and contaminants. It can also be used to press your favorite flavors and recipe concoctions right into the cooked meat. If you’re making up large batches of cooked burgers, etc. for the freezer, here’s the most economical way to do this: Process the cooked meat to remove fat by using plain simmering hot water and set the burgers etc. aside. When you are done reducing the fat, add your favorite simmering concoction to the Burger Buddy and place in the first piece of processed meat. Press several times to inject the flavor right into the meat and remove it without rinsing it. Repeat this process with more meat. Add additional liquid to the patty reservior as needed.
Want more than one kind of flavoring? Pour out the old concoction and just replace it with a second one. It’s as simple as that. You may notice that reducing the fat makes the meat more friendly to water soluble ingredients, allowing them to go straight into it, which is just what you want it to do.
